Road Closure at Elson Green Avenue to Begin Tuesday

​Public Works has announced a nightly road closure on Elson Green Avenue between Princess Anne Road and Upton Drive beginning Tuesday October 27th from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closure is anticipated to occur nightly at the same time for two weeks or until the work is completed.Crews will be installing new sanitary sewer line as a part of the Princess Anne Road Phase VII, (CIP project number 2-195).Traffic will be detoured during those hours, and the road will be re-opened to traffic each morning at 5 a.m. Citizens are urged to use alternate traffic routes when possible. Message boards are currently in place advising motorists of the upcoming work. All scheduled work is weather permitting.
