Pungo Ferry Bridge to Open for Weekend of March 19^th – 21^st

Virginia Beach Public Works has announced that the Pungo Ferry Bridge will be open beginning Friday, March 19 – Sunday, March 21, 2021 - for that weekend only.

The bridge has been scheduled to shut down on weekends from Friday evening at 9 p.m. until Monday morning at 5 a.m. beginning March 12^th as part of the routine maintenance project that is currently underway. The planned traffic schedule will resume on Monday morning, March 22, and the planned weekend traffic schedule will resume on Friday, March 28.

The work is scheduled to be completed June 2021 – weather permitting.
