Pool Drowning

​On July 6th 2020 at 11:13 am, Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a report that a child had fadlen into the pool of the Rodeway Inn located at 1005 Pacific Ave.Adults on scene were performing CPR as Police and EMS personnel arrived. After being transported to a local hospital, the child (under the age of 5) was pronounced deceased.This is being investigated by members of the VBPD's Detective Bureau.MPO Linda J KuehnVirginia Beach Police Department / Public Affairs Officer
