Nighttime Traffic Signal Work on Princess Anne Road Begins Sunday
Public Works has announced traffic signal work will occur nightly on Princess Anne Road from General Booth Blvd to Upton Drive beginning Sunday, August 15th through Thursday, August 26th.
The work will occur each night from 12 midnight – 5 a.m. and will cause temporary traffic stops while new traffic signal mast arms are installed. The work is being done as part of the Princess Anne Road Phase VII project (CIP 2-195).
The traffic signals affected by this work are located at the intersections of:
- Princess Anne Road/General Booth Boulevard
- Princess Anne Road/ Elson Green Avenue
- Princess Anne Road/Upton Drive/Sandbridge Road
Citizens are urged to use alternate traffic routes whenever possible during these work hours. Residents and citizens who travel Princess Anne Road during this time are advised to use caution and observe all posted traffic control signs.
All scheduled work is weather permitting.
