We request voters who applied for an absentee ballot through the mail return it to us at Municipal Center – Building 14, rather than go to the polls on Election Day with the ballot. After presenting a Photo ID, voters can drop off their own ballot "curbside" on the Princess Anne Road side of the building Monday, June 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Election Day, Tuesday, June 23 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.Returning voted ballots directly to our office does not require a wait or additional paperwork. Those who have been issued a ballot through the mail cannot vote that ballot at the polls. If they go to the polls on Election Day, they will have to go through the process of voiding the ballot, surrendering it, and being issued a new one before voting.Voted absentee ballots must be in the Voter Registration & Elections office no later than 7 p.m. Election Day, Tuesday, June 23, 2020. For specific information including sample ballot and polling locations, please visit www.vbgov.com/voter or visit the elections.virginia.gov. Voters who do not have an acceptable form of identification may visit our office and request a free voter photo ID. ###
