Fatal Crash - 1300 Block London Bridge Road

​VIRGINIA BEACH, Va – On May 15, 2021 at 2:16 am, Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received reports of a single vehicle crash in the 1300 block of London Bridge Road. The driver of the vehicle, and only occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene by members of the Virginia Beach Fire Department (VBFD).

The preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2010 Mercedes sedan was travelling southbound on London Bridge when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike several trees. The vehicle overturned as it re-entered the travel lanes. Speed and impairment are believed to be factors of this crash

The decedent has been identified as 30-year-old Alyssa Marie Honey, of Norfolk, Va.

This crash remains under investigation by members of the VBPD Fatal Crash Team.
