Bank On Financial Empowerment Classes Begin on Feb. 1
The next series of free Bank On Financial Empowerment Classes will begin in February 2022, teaching attendees the skills necessary to achieve greater financial freedom and independence. Classes are a mix of virtual classroom lessons and one-on-one sessions with a personal financial coach. The program is open to anyone in the region who would like to attend.
Participants in the five-month program will need to attend one virtual session of their choosing each month. In addition to learning the basics of banking and money management, attendees will learn strategies about overcoming paycheck-to-paycheck living, reducing debt, increasing savings, building a credit score, and protecting assets.
This round of classes will be 100% virtual, meeting once per month through June. Those attending can expect to spend about five hours per month for class time and related activities. Each class session is about two hours long, with another two hours of individual assignments. One-on-one coaching sessions take about an hour.
