*Update* Three Injured in Drive- By Shooting

*Update*Arrest warrants have been obtained for 20-year-old Tanell Shyhiem Platt of Virginia Beach for 3 counts of felonious assault, reckless handling of a firearm, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and shooting from a vehicle. The Virginia Beach Police Departments Warrant Fugitive Squad is currently trying to locate Tanell Platt. Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received reports that a drive by shooting had occurred near the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Avenger Drive.Responding officers located numerous spent shell casings on Lynnhaven Parkway, as well as damage from gunfire to the Taco Bell located at 2009 Lynnhaven Parkway.Additional reports came in regarding a vehicle that may have been involved that was travelling eastbound on 264. That vehicle was located, crashed and unoccupied, at the First Colonial Road exit.It was later established that three people were struck by bullets during this incident, two adults and an infant. The infant and one adult victim are suffering from life-threatening injuries, the second adult sustained a non-life-threatening injury.This investigation is still evolving, being led by members of VBPD's detective bureau.No further details are available at this time.Anyone with information regarding this crime is encouraged to call Virginia Beach Crime Solvers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887).
