Library Expands Virtual Program Opportunities for All Ages

​Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL) is offering more than a dozen new digital programs for children, teens and adults. Whether you need help navigating through the digital world, want to learn a new skill, connect with others, or simply have fun, visit VBPL online. Get the tech help you need during VBPL's "WebEx Live: Tech Help Q&A" on May 19 at 11 a.m. Learn how to download digital content and use features on smartphones, tablets and more!Discover whether a snake's skin is slimy or smooth in JB Rattles' virtual reptile show and meet some other critters, too. Saturday, May 23, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.Hear from Maggie Fraser Kirsh, visiting assistant professor of Judaic Studies at The College of William and Mary, as she discusses Jewish immigration, stories and literature during "WebEx Live: "Coming to America: Jewish Immigration" on May 28 at 6 p.m. Meet and connect with other teens. Play games like Dungeons & Dragons live via Roll20, or learn how to make crinkle art, mug brownies and Dalgona coffee during one of VBPL's Teen Time WebEx Live programs.Meet and connect with other adults to play Dungeons & Dragons live via Roll20.Encourage babies, toddlers and school-aged children to explore the world through various virtual rhyme times, storytimes, and more!Join an adult, teen or child book club/chat to read and discuss books, and meet new people.All programs are free and open to the public; advanced registration may be required.
