Three City Council Members Hosting Separate Meetings Next Week

Councilmembers Michael Berlucchi, Jennifer Rouse and Sabrina Wooten will host community meetings next week to update residents on current City projects and issues.

On Monday, Sept. 11, Councilmember Rouse will host a District 10 community meeting at Green Run High School. Residents will hear updates on flooding projects, public safety and parks and recreation. A listening session will be held at the end of the meeting to gain resident input/concerns. The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the auditorium.

Councilmember Wooten invites Virginia Beach residents to attend a neighborhood meeting from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Brandon Middle School. Featured guest speakers will be representatives from the Hampton Roads Recovery Center. It will take place in the Library Media Center.

Councilmember Berlucchi will host a District 3 community meeting from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Philippine Cultural Center of Virginia. Topics of discussion include updates on public safety, stormwater, planning and code enforcement, and mental health (Human Services). Attendees will have an opportunity to have their questions addressed.​
